By now, you’re aware that FCA Packaging specializes in custom, sustainable, industrial packaging.  We pride ourselves on our expert design and state-of-the-art testing.  Accompanying our custom design, and typically heavy-duty packaging, is the need for flexible packaging and other protective materials.  In this post, we want to focus on flexible packaging: what it is, what it’s used for, and why you should purchase it from us.

What Is Flexible Packaging?

Flexible packaging is any package or container that’s made of easily yielding materials.  They should be able to be changed in shape and made from paper, plastic, film, foil or any combination of those materials.  It also includes items such as bags, pouches, lidding, stretch film, labels, and shrink sleeves – materials that can protect products from moisture, from corrosion, from the elements, or to preserve highly valued and fragile surfaces.

While the primary materials FCA typically designs heavy-duty packaging out of are wood, steel, plastic, and engineered wood, “yielding” materials such as bags, covers, films, or other flexible packaging are often required to supplement the protection of your product after the formation of the primary base, skid, pallet, or box, FCA will use that packaging as well.

Flexible Packaging, Custom Designed

At FCA Packaging, our industrial flexible packaging is all custom and designed in house by our phenomenal staff.  We can assure that the flexible packaging that you use is perfectly custom-fit to the size, shape, and style of your product. Whereas other custom industrial packaging companies only focus on certain types of packaging, we can do it all.
